If the present trams project turns out to be on the road to nowhere, I hope the SNP in the city will resist the temptation to say “Told you so.” Because they didn’t. The party changed its mind, which it’s perfectly entitled to do, but the reason was not the same one as might cause the City Council to walk away from Bilfinger Berger
I’m Margo…and I’m obese. In Scotland, that simply makes me one of the crowd. According to the Scottish Health Survey, a study done by researchers at Glasgow University in 2003, 2.5% of my fellow citizens live the good life, are not overweight, and munch apples, not crisps….
Margo is very proud to once again be asked to serve as the Honorary ‘Provost’ of Leith, the award was bestowed on her during the annual Leith Gala Day on 12th June.
The festival celebrates all that Leith has to offer – its heritage, culture, diversity, future and people. It is a community arts festival that encompasses all art forms which comes together in a fantastic 10 day programme in the Summer. They have over 100 events in 50 venues within a 1 mile radius from the heart of Leith
Margo is Patron to the Scottish Breast Cancer Campaign and attended their AGM on Saturday when a new Chair was elected to carry on the fantastic work done by this Group.
